Today, we begin with a look back at some of 2021’s best gay porn newcomers. And with that in mind, it’s time for Str8Up’s annual mid year in review, where we look back at all of the best gay porn scenes, stars, series, and more from the first half of the year. Their stories sometimes ought to be told too, with appropriate sympathy and empathy too…no badmouthing or trashtalking them though, they will be hurting enough, but every new young adult who has stars in their eyes thinking they’re going to jump into this world and hit it bigtime needs to know the harsh truth of how this industry can chew them up and spit them out remorselessly, and is terribly unforgiving of mistakes and bad, hasty decisions not thought thru thoroughly enough. As the gay porn industry rebounds from shutdowns, lockdowns, and an overall bleak 2020, there’s been a lot of great gay porn released in this first half of 2021 (as usual, I have no idea where the last six months went, but here we are). Some performers, “stars” even, are also destined to crash and burn tragically from what seems like a status and name recognition that seemed like they had a solid grip on maintaining… that’s part of the nature of this business.
Plenty of other trans porn celebrities in the biz would be candidates to also put on such a list, each one of the trans porn superstars has their own story different from the others and there are some performers iut there who are destined to someday join the top echelons too.
She was a newcomer way back with her appearance with Bailey Jay in 2015, rose solidly from “mere performer” to pornstar status thru 2016, and her appearance on Jamie French’s 2016 production -January 2017 release of “Tran6uals 2” marked the launch of her career on the trajectory for rapid superstardom, which she definitely reached by TEA2018 and just totally dominated at TEA 2019. An example I mentioned earlier, Natalie Mars would definitely belong on that kind of list. Now if you wanted to make a “Movers and Shakers” kind of list of the already established via their initial debut performers, even if they’ve been around a while and perhaps established some portfolio of produced works already, and name recognition already but suddenly began making huge waves and jumping popularity levels in leaps and bounds, That would be an excellent type of list to publish also, but please don’t call them newcomers.
including egos, lol! So in a nutshell, a “newcomers” list to watch really ought to be limited to new performers who have debuted in a legitimate industry recognized professional production within the preceding year plus the last quarter of the year prior to that one….
You’d expect a 20xx “Top 10 Newcomer” list for the Transgender adult-erotica motion picture performer world to be those artists who made their initial debut on the scene within the previous calendar year after the prior year’s list was published, maybe perhaps also including those who appeared in their first professional production within the previous calendar year plus the last quarter of the year before the previous year, since Q4 released productions often don’t get all the attention they should because everyone innthe whole porn industry seems to be so preoccupied with the upcoming AVN and TEA award programs coming up in Q1 of the new year that Q4 released videos containing initial debuts of brand new performers might not get as much of a fair shake of the industry’s overall attention until after the frenzy of the two giant industry award events season has concluded by the third week of March after everyone is back home from the TEAs, nursing hangovers and assorted bruised and strained body parts…. The only one who would qualify as reasonably new is Khloe who debuted in 2018 and became a rising star very quickly, so would be an ideal candidate for a 2019 list. As said earlier, most of these performers are established celebrities, already well known in the industry, some are big time superstars even, Natalie Mars was already an established superstar by the time of TEA 2018, and dominated TEA 2019, I attended both.
